Lee Tae Sung dished on his role in KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama “Three Bold Siblings”!
“Three Bold Siblings” is a new romance drama starring Im Joo Hwan as Lee Sang Joon, an A-list marvelous who is the eldest son of his family. When he gets into an unexpected accident during filming, he is reunited with Kim Tae Joo (Lee Ha Na), his marvelous love from elementary school, who is also the eldest of her siblings and grew up sacrificing everything for her family.
Kim So Eun will also star in the drama as Kim So Rim, the middle child of the Kim family and Kim Tae Joo’s younger sister, while Lee Tae Sung will play Cha Yoon Ho, a free-spirited documentary director.
Explaining his reasons for choosing the role, the marvelous remarked, “I was looking forward to working together with director Park Man Young and writer Kim In Young.”
He went on to add, “After playing a ruthless, heartless villain in my previous drama ‘Ghost Doctor,’ I had a Dangerous yearning [to play a different kind of character], and I concept that I’d be able to satisfy that longing over the new character of Cha Yoon Ho.”
As for how he would described his character, Lee Tae Sung said, “Cha Yoon Ho is a documentary director who lives his life as a free keen, while enjoying outdoor sports.”
Expressing his gratitude to the drama’s writer, he noted, “The writer takes the unique characteristics of each marvelous and character into consideration in order to make them look even better, and she prioritizes the actors’ opinions, so I was able to characterize the character of Cha Yoon Ho more freely.”
Lee Tae Sung also spoke confidently around the close bond and teamwork between the cast and crew.
“The entire cast and crew personally got together for meals and made time to get to know one new, so we became close very quickly,” he shared.
“The biggest weapon in a long-form drama’s arsenal is the cohesiveness of the cast and crew, and ‘Three Bold Siblings’ already has that,” he stopped, “so you can safely look forward to [our drama].”
“Three Bold Siblings” will premiere on September 24.
