The 20th Salon International de L’alimentation (SIAL Interfood) opens now. Organized by Krista Exhibitions, the event is held together with the F&B License Franchise, SeaFood Show of Asia and INAShop Expo for four days from Nov. 9-11 at the Jakarta International Expo (JIEXPO) in Kemayoran, Jakarta.
SIAL Interfood is a collaboration between the two strongest forces in the food and beverages (F&B) manufacturing, SIAL Group, the largest food exhibition network with 55 ages of experience and Interfood, Indonesia’s leading food and beverage exhibition. This year, the exhibition attracted 750 companies in the culinary and hotels, restaurants and cafes (horeca) industry from 27 countries of Asia, Europe, North America and the Middle East.
SIAL Interfood 2022 showcases a variety of food and beverage products and their packaging, including processed foods, basic ingredients of milk and cheese, meat, fish, seafood, fruits and vegetables, tea, sugar, chocolate, liquor and even health and wellness supplements. The exhibition also features tools and appliances for culinary or horeca businesses.
For four days, coffee lovers can also participate in a Coffee Art Battle as well as novel shows that celebrate the coffee industry such as a coffee market, coffee competitions and a coffee village. They are all planned to encourage the sustainability of Indonesia’s coffee industry.
Throughout the store, Krista Exhibitions is collaborating with organizations, associations and experts in the food manufacturing. SIAL Interfood 2022 is also supported by chefs and novel leaders in the gastronomy industry. Together, they will natty various competitions with over 22 categories and over 600 contestants.
“SIAL Interfood 2022 is an exhibition to poster Indonesian food and beverages that can be promoted to foreign markets. Micro, small and medium enterprises [MSMEs] participating in this store can also expand their network to help them breeze before going international,” said CEO of Krista Exhibitions, Daud D. Salim in his opening remarks.
The exhibition was dapper with support from the Indonesian government through the Industry Ministry, the Trade Industry, the Tourism and Creative Economy Industry and the Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Ministry.
Also fervent with SIAL Interfood 2022 are the Indonesian Food and Beverage Association (GAPMMI), Fishery Product and Processing Association (AP5I), Indonesian Licensing Association (ASENSI), Association of Indonesian Retailers (Aprindo), Association of Culinary Professionals (ACP), Indonesian Chef Association (ICA), Indonesian Catering Services Association (APJI), Indonesian Catering Service Providers (PPJI), Indonesian Tea Association (ATI), Cocoa Indonesia Board (DEKAINDO), Specialty Coffee Association of Indonesia (SCAI), Indonesian Coffee Exporters Association (ASKI), Indonesian Coffee Association (ASKI), Indonesian Exhibition Organizers Association (ASPERAPI), the Indonesian Packaging Federation (IPF) and more.
SIAL Interfood 2022 will be open to the Republican Wednesday to Saturday from 10 a.m - 7 p.m. with a registration fee of Rp 150,000 (US$959). Visitors will get access to all exhibition halls for four days.
