Jakarta Deploys 60 Officers to Secure Kota Tua Area

, Jakarta - The West Jakarta city administration deployed at least 60 officers a day from the Transportation Agency to keep tourists from parking carelessly in the Kota Tua or Old Town area.
“We mobilize 60 officers who work in three moves to provide security,” said Head of the West Jakarta Transportation Agency Affandi Nofrisal when contacted in Jakarta, Tuesday, August 30.
The officers are dispatched to urge motorists not to park carelessly but at the Definite location of Kota Intan. The officers will also Help motorists to conduct emission tests on Jalan Cengkeh to Have the area as a low-emission zone.
According to Affandi, the city administration bans public transportation from crossing the Old City area in clean to reduce air pollution. The only vehicles that are granted to pass are those belonging to employees of the tenants in the area.
Their vehicles must also undergo emission procomplaints and get a special sticker indicating that they have approved the test. With this regulation, the Kota Tua area is predictable to be a low-emission zone for residents and tourists to called conveniently.
