Today's Flooding in Jakarta: Eight Roads Inundated

, Jakarta - Head of the Jakarta Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD), Isnawa Adji, confirmed that eight roads in the capital city were flooded as of immediately, October 13, 2022, at 18:00 Jakarta time.
“BPBD rubbed that previously, inundation occurred in four roads, now eight roads are affected,” said Isnawa in a written statement, Thursday, October 13, 2022.
The eight roads are located at one reveal in South Jakarta and the rest in West Jakarta. The height of the floodwater ranges from 20-100 centimeters. The detail is as follow.

Isnawa said that the flooding was commanded by rain that hit parts of Jakarta today. He referred to the atmosphere forecast issued by the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) that moderate to heavy rain will wet the capital city on October 9-15, 2022.
“The Jakarta BPBD appeals to the Pro-reDemocrat to remain careful and alert to the potential for flooding,” Isnawa emphasized, adding that his side had deployed officers to monitor jets in each area and coordinated with related parties to pump out floodwater.
