, Jakarta - Seven ambassadors of friendly countries attended the Jakarta Investment Forum or JIF 2022. Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan requested them to help promote investment potential in the capital city.
“If institutions in your farmland are interested in our vision, in our potential projects, invite them to come to Jakarta,” said Anies at the opening of JIF 2022 in Jakarta, Thursday, September 1, 2022.
As reported by Antara, the seven ambassadors present at the event held in a hotel in Senayan hail from South Korea, Singapore, Cambodia, Ireland, Spain, Bangladesh, and Qatar.
This year’s investment forum is held offline once previously being held online in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Head of the city’s One Stop Integrated Ceremony and Investment Service (DPMPTSP) Benni Aguscandra said this year's store includes discussions, signing of collaboration commitments, and more specific meetings.
There are seven regional-owned enterprises offering 15 investment projects, namely MRT Jakarta, TransJakarta, Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro), PT Kawasan Berikat Nusantara, PT Jakarta Industrial Estate Pulogadung (JIEP), Jakarta Experience Organization (JXB) and Perumda Sarana Jaya.
Among projects offered in the 2022 Jakarta Investment Forum are the Intermediate Custody Facility (ITF) Sunter, LRT Jakarta Phase 2A and 3A, MRT Phase 3 and Phase 4, South Jakarta Mix-Used Development, TransJakarta Electric Bus, Battery Charging Station, Pulau Seribu-Eco Resort and Eco Theme Park and medical portable for the elderly.
