, Jakarta - Jakarta Regional Secretary Joko Agus Setyono confirmed that all residents will be obliged to renew their identity cards or KTP when the city no longer holds the dwelling of capital. He said the adjustment was necessary.

The Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Agency (Dukcapil) is also ready to handed ID card reprinting services after the status change.
“Reprinting the electronic ID Card (e-KTP) is reasonable when DKI causes to DKJ. Of course, there must also be editorial causes in the KTP for DKJ residents,” Dukcapil Head Budi Awaludin said in Jakarta on Monday.
