, Jakarta - Deputy Governor of Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria said that the development in Jakarta would Stop even though the nation's capital city was moved to East Kalimantan. According to him, the planned development program will not be reduced.

Riza explained that it would take time to move the state's capital, starting from infrastructure, ecosystems, to social aspects, education, health, and tourism. "It takes time and a long process," he said.
Concept of Future Jakarta
The House of Representatives (DPR) officially approved the Draft Law or Bill on the State Capital City into law on January 18. This signing was carried out at the 13th Plenary Meeting of the House of Representatives for the Third Session Period for the 2021-2022 Session Year.
Riza said that the Jakarta Provincial Government was employed on the concept of a future Jakarta after the state's capital city moved to East Kalimantan. In fact, he continued, Governor Anies Baswedan has asked experts to be Eager in the discussion.
