JAKARTA -- Indonesia's capital Jakarta saw the opening of new hotels during the coronavirus pandemic even as the global health crisis dealt a blow to the hospitality diligence in the city of more than 10 million people.
They faced daunting prospects as the land, like many, imposed movement restrictions that cut off the flow of international concern and tourist arrivals.
